sheila2Sheila Trost

Sheila Trost is the founder, artistic director, and choreographer for the Nationally and World ranked Energizers Dance Team. She is an accomplished dance instructor, judge, coach and award winning choreographer who has instructed all ages in pom, jazz, hip hop, kick and studio dance for the past 25 years. Known for her unique style and entertaining choreography, Sheila has choreographed National and World ranked routines. Sheila is a member of the National Education Association, WACPC, & USASF. She is certified as a USASF Safety Judge, and is a member of the Rules Committee, Regional, National and Worlds Advisory Board.

Sheila has won numerous awards for her talents as a coach and choreographer including National Coach of the Year and Director of the Year by Dance Spirit. In 2015, she was awarded the USASF Dance Coach of the Year. Sheila continues to serve as a certified adjudicator for events across the country.

Sheila holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Education. In addition, she has studied leadership and administration. Sheila continues her education by attending conferences, seminars and workshops in the dance industry. Her accomplished dance students have received numerous scholarships, perform with college dance programs around the nation, and are dancing professionally. Her alumni, faculty, and family are a continuous source of inspiration as she strives for excellence in and out of the classroom. Sheila has been teaching children for over twenty five years and her passion and enthusiasm for creating life long learners is evident in her classroom. She is a very energetic, positive and motivating teacher who sets her expectations high for every student.

jimJim Trost

Jim Trost is the co-owner of the Dream Center and a high school special education teacher. He is a national dance adjudicator, conditioning and strength coach for the Energizers Dance Team, and the Business Manager at the Dream Center. He earned his MBA in Special Education and his BS in Business Management from Cardinal Stritch University.

Jim has been involved in the dance industry for over 20 years. In 2011, he was honored with the Dance Legacy award and was named as the 2010 UPA coach of the year. In addition to owning the Dream Center, he has been a head football coach for more than twenty years. Jim appreciates the athleticism and discipline that dance embodies, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Dream Center and the Energizers Dance Team.

alexisAlexis Trost

Alexis is the founder and coach of the Energizers special needs dance team, the Dream Team. She is a member of the Energizers coaching staff and travels across the country as a dance instructor with MA Dance. Alexis has grown up in the world of dance and began dancing competitively at the age of six. She has earned several awards for her dancing including hundreds of national titles and has competed at the World level. With perseverance, dedication, and passion Alexis earned numerous world titles. She is a Bronze World Champion, three-time Silver World Champion and is a two-time Gold World Champion. She graduated through the energizer program and was a team captain since 2012. She has a passion for teaching children and dancing.

Currently she is studying to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education at Cardinal Stritch University. She enjoys learning and furthering her dance education by attending numerous dance conferences throughout the summer. She earned the honor of being selected as the 2014 USASF Gold Scholarship Winner at Worlds. This prestigious award is selected out of numerous senior cheerleaders and dancers. Alexis is a member of the USASF Special Needs Committee as well as the 2015 Class of USASF Young Leaders. Alexis has studied ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom, contemporary, lyrical, and kick.

chelseaChelsea Viste

Chelsea Viste, was raised in Valders, WI; where she began her training at the age of four with the Jean Wolfmeyer School of Dance. Chelsea then continued her training with Virginia School of the Arts for her four years of high school. Throughout her educational years with VSA she performed in Rueil Malmaison, France and several Spoleto Festivals in South Carolina. Learning and performing many roles in Classical Ballets featured in the Annual Gala, and even performing alongside the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Wanting to expand her studies beyond the school year, Chelsea went on to attend Summer Intensives and Conventions consisting of Virginia School of the Arts, Joffrey Midwest, Boston Ballet, Jazz World Congress, Milwaukee Ballet, JUMP Dance convention, DanceAmerica, Chicago National Association Dance Masters Ballet Forum and Alba Dance International in Alba Italy.

Chelsea went on to become a company member and choreographer of the City Ballet Theatre Dance Company in Milwaukee, WI. During these years of training Ms. Viste’s passion for the art form flourished with every opportunity that presented itself to work with and next to such skillful teachers and choreographers. Chelsea soon connected into the role of teaching and choreographing following in the footsteps of those who have molded her technique. While keeping current, Chelsea still attends several workshops and conventions. Also recently she has become a professional member of the USASF due to her involvement with the Energizers Dance Teams. She has had the pleasure to teach and create for Door County, Manitowoc, Appleton, Milwaukee, and Lodz, Poland.

Jessica began her dance career at the age of four. Throughout her years of studio training, she studied ballet, modern ballet, jazz lyrical, and tap. She danced competitively for seven years with Dance Defined Studio in New Berlin, Wisconsin and traveled across the nation attending competitions, conventions, and workshops. Additionally she was also a four-year member of an award winning high school dance team. After graduating high school, Jessica began college at the University of Iowa where she was a member of the University of Iowa Dance Team. With the Iowa Dance Team, she participated in the UDA National College Dance Team Championships, the Alamo Bowl, Outback Bowl, and the Orange Bowl. In addition, she consistently took classes and danced in performances with the UI Dance Department.

After earning her undergraduate degree in Biology and her graduate degree in Science Education, Jessica returned to Wisconsin where she began coaching an award winning Division I high school dance team. Throughout her nine years as a high school dance team coach, she has taught numerous teenage girls the meaning of team work, perseverance, and hard work. She is proud to say that every year under her direction, the team qualified in Division I for the WACPC State Dance Team Championships. Jessica now is the newest member of the Energizers Dance Team staff and is very excited for what the future holds for her with this distinguished organization.

As well as teaching dance, Jessica teaches AP Biology at Hamilton High School in Sussex, Wisconsin.

otherJulie Guyette

Julie has danced for eight years with The People’s Ballet Company in Green Bay and has had leading roles in the Nutcracker Suite. She was a member of the Green Bay Wisconsin Gymnastics Team and has competed at the National level. While completing her Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education, Julie was also a member of the UW Lacrosse Dance Team. Julie is second grade teacher for the Hartford School District.

Julie has been teaching at the Dream Center since it opened in 2004. She continues to inspire her students in her tumbling and ballet classes with her positive energy. She has a daughter who has graduated through the program and was the 2016 USASF scholarship recipient.

Julie believes in the power of positivity and encourages her students to excel by believing in them. She has taught ballet, tiny tots, youth combo classes, dancenastics and tumbling.  Julie loves working with our students at the Dream Center!


Nate Husser

This is Nate’s second year as a member of the International Open Coed Energizers Dance team and his first year as a coach. Nate started his performance career in gymnastics at the age of three and shortly after that he began participating in musical theater events all throughout Wisconsin. He continued performing and competing with gymnastics and musicals through his sophomore year of high school. At the age of 16 he decided to direct his sights to a career in the preforming arts. This led him to explore dance by joining his high school dance team. While a member of the Watertown blue Revue he became the first male all state recipient.

After three years dancing in high school he decided to further his dance career at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee as a dance major. He was contacted by Sheila in the summer before his first semester and was offered a scholarship to dance for the Energizers and has been with the program ever since.


Sarah Zeisser

Ms. Sarah is the former coach of the nationally ranked University of Wisconsin Dance Team and a former member of the nationally ranked University of Minnesota Dance Team.

Sarah acts as a choreographer and consultant for studio-based, elementary, high school, all-star and collegiate dance teams across the Midwest. Sarah is also a former instructor and choreographer for Universal Dance Association, and is a veteran judge for the National College Dance Team Championships and National High School Dance Team Championships hosted by UCA/UDA and televised on ESPN.

Sarah is an American Ballet Theatre® Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.

Sarah has also provided commentary for the Wisconsin State Dance Team Competition with “When We Were Young” Productions and Fox Sports Wisconsin. Sarah possesses over 30 years of dance experience in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and pom pon. When Sarah is not teaching dance, she works as a registered nurse for St. Mary’s/Dean Venture Digestive Health Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
