Jump Around Field Trip
The “Jump Around” field trip will include inflatable bounce houses and obstacle course, music and movement and structured large motor activities. The children will learn about the importance of staying healthy through physical activity. The purpose of this trip is to give the children the opportunity to participate in gym activities, gain an appreciation for music and movement, and learn how to cooperate, take turns and work together. All stations are led by DC staff to ensure a good time by all!
AGE: This field trip is available to students in 4K through 5th grade. The curriculum is modified to fit the specific needs and requests of the teacher.
COST: The cost of this field trip is $7.00 per person. No charge for chaperones.
Please dress your child for a day of activity and movement. Tennis shoes, socks and comfortable clothing are appropriate.
Girl Scout Special Events
This fun-filled event meets the requirements for the Girl Scout Dance Badge. The program lasts 1.5 hours and includes a ballet demonstration, pom performance, jazz combination, various movement activities and games, bounce house aerobic activity and a question and answer session. Girls should dress in comfortable attire and wear dance wear or loose fitting clothing, tennis shoes, dance shoes and bring socks. Badge programs are held on Fridays or Saturday mornings or afternoons and must be scheduled in advance by emailing us. Troop leaders may bring refreshments and hold a short meeting at the Dream Center if desired. Troop leaders are also responsible for supplying the badges.
